Solvis is a very Earth-like planet, close in mass and with a decently thick atmosphere, though it is mostly composed of Nitrogen, containing no oxygen whatsover. As a result, it is completely inhospitable to Avali. The oceans are made out of poisonous and searingly hot molten ice (water), and the atmospheric pressure is too low and the gravity too high for Avali to survive without enhancements. It is still considered the most likely place for Avali colonization within the Solakku system, however, as the water combined with the Nitrogen in the atmosphere could be used to synthesize Ammonia, and the conditions aren’t nearly as harsh as the rest of the planets. Its also relatively easy to get to from Avalon, similar to how Mars is relatively easy to reach from Earth.
Solvis’s landmass is mostly desert. It is still very warm on its surface, meaning most of it has dried up, which has lead to some unique surface features. A lot of flat basins and coastlines exist on its surface, from where ocean used to be. The strong ridge lines scattered on the surface are the remains of what used to be rivers, as the riverbeds erroded more slowly after drying up than the surrounding area. While the planet does have ice caps on its poles similar to Earth, they are small in size due to the high temperatures. The planet has no axial tilt, meaning no seasons, and no long nights at the poles, helping to sustain the ice caps.
Solvis is often used as a synonym in Avali language for a torturous place nobody wants to go to, similar to the usage of the word “hell” in English.

I created this one because I thought it would be funny to have a place that humans would consider almost 100% habitable and would instantly slap a million colonies on it, but that is also basically Avali hell. It definitely helps to show that difference in perspective between Avali and Humans when looking at planets. If this is already Avali hell, though, I’m not sure what that makes Magnus. Super-hell?
