Blast appears to be a first-generation planet, though it has evidently migrated inwards at some point. Its most notable feature is the crater covering almost half of its total surface, having most likely collided with another planet recently. Wether this impact was the reason for its migration, or happened as a result is up to speculation.

There is also strong volcanic activity on its surface, though strangely only on the half of it not affected by the impact. Why Blast does not hold on to even a thin atmosphere despite its high gravity is unknown, but possibly related to Karat’s death and the impact. It is expected to build up a new atmosphere from gases ejected by the volcanoes over the next few million years.

Volcanoes and Supervolcanoes on Blast’s far side

` Learned how to create volcanoes on my planets just for this! I don’t really know myself why I wanted to add volcanoes to it, or what the reason for them is. It just looks really cool seeing them glow on the night side of the planet. Of note is also the tall mountain ranges where the crater zone meets with the regular terrain. `
