Frost is a super-earth planet with a very dense atmosphere and the third most massive planet in the Solakku system. Its technically massive enough to become a gas giant, but it appears that it reached this mass too late in the solar system’s development, with Valaya and Edith already having claimed most of the light gases in the system, leaving Frost with only a thin envelope of Hydrogen, compared to Valaya and Edith.
Its surface is mostly covered in various ices, most notably Ammonia ice. It is distinctely separated into lowlands, and elevated highlands, with early Avali astronomers often mistaking the lowlands for oceans when viewed through a telescope. Despite its crushing atmosphere, it also has a fair amount of mountainanous regions.

Frost is a planet I originally created for a different planet mod years prior, that I abandoned. It is basically the only good planet that I created then, so I decided to keep it around and move it into the Solakku system. It was also part of that abandoned Vulpina worldbuilding project. Its been a lot of places, and I hope this’ll be its final home.
