Edith is a gas giant planet orbiting past Valaya. It is the second most massive planet in the system. Though it appears to resemble Saturn due to its ring system, its ring system is far greater in radius then that of Saturn, with its outer edge being 217,560 km away from the planet’s center. It is also different in appearance. Its high rotation speed is causing winds more extreme than those found even on Jupiter, with its bands being almost perfectly horizontal strips. It is also less massive then Saturn, meaning its moon system mostly consists of Minor bodies, with only three major moons orbiting it, two of which are actually a binary pair.

` Edith was originally copy-pasted from a previous KSP planet mod I made and quickly abandoned, though I eventually revamped its texture. I used a program called Gaseous Giganticus to generate the texture. In the case of Edith, I wanted to see what would happen if I were to put band count and band speed up to the max, and the result looks quite impressive, I believe. The angular velocity on its "surface" (the cloud layer) is quite extreme, as you might be able to imagine from its day length being 6 times shorter than Earth’s, while also being much larger in radius. `
