Res is one of Frost’s two major moons, and the more massive of the two. This one orbits Frost close enough to have its surface and core partially molten my tidal heating. Its landmass is mostly featureless and consists entirely of igneous rock. Geological activity is heavily accelerated on Res’ surface, meaning its continents change shape frequency.

` I thought it would be ironic to have a moon that is getting superheated right next to a planet that is so cold, its literally named "Frost". Also, my N-Body simulation method of creating moon systems is making a return here. `

Nanani is the second major moon of Frost. It is orbiting a larger distance away from Frost, and thus not affected much by tidal forces. Its mostly unremarkable, and only known for its pretty looking, cratered appearance.

View from Nanani’s surface. Both Frost and Res are visible above the horizon.

` Probably the moon I’m the least proud of. It does look quite pretty on its own, but contrasted with everything seen so far, kind of a disapointement. I may revisit it in the future. `

Kallnu is a medium sized asteroid moon orbiting Frost, in a strangely eccentric orbit. Its surface is also covered in many tiny craters, giving it a unique look.

` Kallnu is kinda just meant as a place for people to refuel in the KSP mod. Still, I think its craters make it look at least a bit fascinating. Like Gilly, but it got hit with shrapnel. Its shape is also quite funky. `
